Hey everyone, this is my second guide for the ultimate attacking pet, updated [April 16, 2010]. You may read about how to make an ultimate fusion pet [here]. This guide will be much longer and more in-depth.
Credits go out to Pet Professor's thread [here] and Ruichi's thread [here]. I wanted to skim over what they've said and show you what they're talking about. *Note: this is the process I've read about and tried myself. This process worked for me -- if you follow it correctly it will surely work for you.
Although the fusion stats would not play an obvious role, having three or four fusion stats will increase the pet rank and ultimately increase its strength. I have read on these forums on many occasions "what bright/cautious pet is right for me?" In my opinion, the pet that's right for you is the one you want battling by your side. If it's for aesthetic reasons (usually the case) or purely stats, go with your own opinion. Your peer's opinion is not your own. I personally use a Lady Whiteskull because I'd rather have her following me all day than anything else (even if it's stronger). The choice is yours!
Now here is my view on creating the [Ultimate Attack Pet].
Step 1: Obtain an [Attack Pet]. For this example, we will be using a Pyra/Cautious pet.
Step 2: Collect and raise 1 Silver Warrior, and 9 Sheep to lvl30. The Silver Warrior must be the same affinity as your [Attack Pet] and must be Bright. It doesn't matter if your [Attack Pet] is Fierce/Cautious/Bright/Normal, you will need to use Bright. This is because Bright pets will transfer STR/INT much better than any other type. For our example we will use a Pyra/Bright Silver Warrior. The Sheep can be any affinity -- it does not matter. Use the Silver Warrior as your main and meld it with the 9 sheep. The process should look something like this.
[Main-Silver Warrior] + [Sheep#1] = [Silver Warrior-Meld1]
[Silver Warrior-Meld1] + [Sheep#2] = [Silver Warrior-Meld2]
[Silver Warrior-Meld2] + [Sheep#3] = [Silver Warrior-Meld3]
[Silver Warrior-Meld3] + [Sheep#4] = [Silver Warrior-Meld4]
[Silver Warrior-Meld4] + [Sheep#5] = [Silver Warrior-Meld5]
[Silver Warrior-Meld5] + [Sheep#6] = [Silver Warrior-Meld6]
[Silver Warrior-Meld6] + [Sheep#7] = [Silver Warrior-Meld7]
[Silver Warrior-Meld7] + [Sheep#8] = [Silver Warrior-Meld8]
[Silver Warrior-Meld8] + [Sheep#9] = [Silver Warrior-Meld9]
*Note: Remember, mutation will occur at any meld -- that's a good thing. The reason is, whatever the Silver Warrior mutates into will have a greater MAX STR/INT growth rate than the Silver Warrior.
Step 3: Collect and raise 11 Bright Humanoid pets with the same affinity as your [Attack Pet]. For our example, we will collect 11 Pyra/Bright Humanoid pets.
Why Bright? Bright pets will transfer STR/INT much better than any other type.
Why Humanoid? Humanoid pets have the highest well-rounded STR/INT stats; typically 3+ STR/INT. (ie. Feline Champion, Tigero Ranger, etc.)
With this process, you are now creating a secondary pet (a sacrificial/support pet) for your [Attack Pet]'s STR/INT growth. Meld all 11 together using the pet with the highest STR/INT as your main. You will get about 4.5+ STR/INT Growth after the 10 melds.
[Main-Bright_Humanoid] + [Bright_Humanoid#2] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld1]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld1] + [Bright_Humanoid#3] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld2]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld2] + [Bright_Humanoid#4] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld3]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld3] + [Bright_Humanoid#5] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld4]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld4] + [Bright_Humanoid#6] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld5]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld5] + [Bright_Humanoid#7] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld6]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld6] + [Bright_Humanoid#8] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld7]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld7] + [Bright_Humanoid#9] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld8]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld8] + [Bright_Humanoid#10] = [Bright_Humanoid-Meld9]
[Bright_Humanoid-Meld9] + [Bright_Humanoid#11] = [4.5STR/INT-Bright_Humanoid]
*Note: Pets with the same or similar STR/INT growth rates should not be melded together. You will see only a very slight increase. [ie. 3.05 STR/INT + 3.08 STR/INT]
*Note: Mutation may occur in this step, but that doesn't matter.
Step 4: Level both these pets (ideally to lvl90) as best you can before melding them. When they are higher levels, the better the stats may transfer from your [4.5STR/INT-Bright_Humanoid] to your [Silver Warrior-Meld9]. If melded at high enough levels, it should result in a final pet (unable to say which one it will be due to mutation) with an 7.5+ STR/INT Growth Rate.
*Note: 7.5STR/7.5INT can max out ANY pet below a max 10STR/INT at lv90. If your pet has more than 10STR/INT, you will need to meld them at lv90+.
[Silver Warrior-Meld9] + [4.5STR/INT-Bright_Humanoid] = [Silver Warrior-Meld10] aka [Super-Mutated-7.5STR/INT-Silver Warrior]
**Caution, there risks the possibility that your mutation may become mechen/elementa type, STR-capping at about 6.7STR. This will not be able to max certain pets like Tomero Gilgunners, Hulon Firedrakes, Fiesty Whelps, and other high STR/INT pets. If this happens to be your mutation, please re-level it to 90 and meld it with a new un-melded lvl90 Feline Champion, Trident Bullero, or other humanoid and continue the process.**
Final Step: Meld together your [Attack Pet] with the [Super-Mutated-7.5STR/INT-Silver Warrior]. Again, and more importantly at this stage, please be sure your pets are around lv90 -- or until your [Attack Pet]'s STR/INT are maxed in the preview.
[Attack Pet] + [Super-Mutated-7.5STR/INT-Silver Warrior] =
[Attack Pet-Meld1] aka [Ultimate Attack Pet]
With this, your new [Ultimate Attack Pet] will/should be maxed out in STR/INT. Maxed or near maxed stats will appear in orange highlight.
*Note: "Rank is power" -Fate. This holds true, and a pet with maxed STR/INT with little HP Growth will have a lower rank and result in less damage (with rank dependent skills). Make sure to read my max-HP guide to learn more on how to max the HP of your attack pet.
Thank you for reading and I hope I may have cleared up a few questions many of you may have!

08-20-2009, 03:08 PM #2tis is true, partlyConsidering this will be your summoning pet, I must address the fact that fusing stats should not be of concern.
fuse stat no matter
# of fuse do
more hi fuse result more hi rank.
for support it is better u are to use humanoid pet, tey are spawn most high base str/int.
elementa very poor str growth, unless u wish for add extra step and cost.. avoid use ele for 10x meld support.
also avoid to use cautious pet for tis.
tey hav hi int growth and low str. bright raise equal. tis step also, lesser result wen meld 30 vs 30. maybe u go lvl more hi, result better. 50 v 50 or 70 v 70 depend how fast u can lvl... growth will alot better.
most ppl max out welp, it is easy to find.
abit waste i tink but better tan use normal pet like butterfly.
if ppl will take all tis time, money invest to teir pet
at least use final pet tat will power... high max stat, race advantage
tis is unsafeFinal Step: Meld together your final pet with the [Super-Mutated-8STR/INT-Silver Warrior]. Again, and more importantly at this stage, please be sure your pets are lvl90 for the outcome to be at its best. Be sure that it has 0 previous melds and use a 100% successful meld tool for absolute success.
meld 0 to 3 are 100% with 30% token
if use 100% token, chance to mutate is appear.
later u witeskull become someting poor.
atk pet require +hp growth also
rank is power, no hp growth result poor rank, less power
def/res is final step can take, low rank increase alot expensive... but result good pet.
mutate can happen at 1st meld*Note: Remember, mutation will occur between melds 3~9 -- that's a good thing. The reason is, whatever the Silver Warrior mutates into will have a greater MAX STR/INT growth rate than the Silver Warrior.
is not hi for chance but is possible.

Fate, thank you for your help on the subject. I am not 100% familiar with supporting pets myself, and this was only my rendition on what the process would look like. I've taken what you've pointed out and applied them in my guide above. Thank you again, and feel free to comment on anything else you may feel is appropriate to this topic.

Thank you so much for making this guide! Makes it so much easier to understand.
Gonna start making one once I'm able to catch those Feline Champs. Major props to you.

i m a bit confuse =p... have a few question, i am aiming for max int + str
1: my final pet is a "cautious pyra waxgelom", so.. do i start with a bright or cautious "pyra silver warrior" to meld with sheep??
2: on the second step, i got 11 "bright pyra combus" and got them to lv30 and meld it... now i have a "10meld bright pyra combus" but only 2.92str and 4.80int <- is this screwed up??
sry for the noob question... coz i m a noob XD
thank you

First of all, don't call yourself a noob~ ^^ Don't put yourself down!
1: If your final pet is a cautious attitude type, then your Silver Warrior will also need to be cautious to get the best results. And yes, meld this silver warrior with 9 sheep to get a Silver Warrior-Meld9.1: my final pet is a "cautious pyra waxgelom", so.. do i start with a bright or cautious "pyra silver warrior" to meld with sheep??
2: on the second step, i got 11 "bright pyra combus" and got them to lv30 and meld it... now i have a "10meld bright pyra combus" but only 2.92str and 4.80int <- is this screwed up??
2: I'm not sure what a Combus is, but it seems to me you're on the right track to getting a max int pet. 4.80int does seem a bit low, but (and I'm not 100% sure) I think when you level both your Silver Warrior and Combus to lvl70+ the stats will turn out fine. Like I mentioned in the guide, the higher level both your pets are before you meld them, the greater amount of stats (in this case INT) will transfer.
*Note: If you for some reason end up with a Waxbrain that doesn't have max INT, don't worry. You have 9 more melds available which can easily max out what little INT is left. For those melds you can just use high INT/STR pets with a few melds each with a Charm (orange) to bring up the stats. Unfortunately if you do, beware that even with the additional 30% success rate between melds 6~10 you will have about 55% success.

Question: If I switch my sheep with something else that is still a fierce beastkin, will it change anything?
Will the HP stats be better or will it remain the same?

I finally understand melding completely now thanks to both of your 'simplified' guides

I mean don't get me wrong I appreciate the other guides people have made on this subject also, just personally I ended up more confuzzled than before reading it with theirs I'm afraid.
So yeah this is a big help Thank you XD

ok so i have to ask this noobs question:
are Silver Warrior and Sheep the only pets that can meld to change the growth stats of the host's pet i mean after 9 times melding? or you can meld any pet like example: whelps+whelps 9 times and than meld the 9 times whelps with a host pet. will this change the stats growth or not? thx for any reply
