[Season - Ancestral Ruins]

You use spirit to level your skills.

Nature's Essence affects your affinity with pets. The higher the affinity, the higher your pet's HP will be when it is active. This is not a permanent affect, and will be removed when you stow your pet.

Elemental affinity affects your damage with skills of the same affinity. For rangers, your Unda affinity will affect the damage of your Unda skills, such as Undan Arrow. Your Widu affinity will affect the damage of your Widu skills, such as Tainted Dreamshot.

With an extra 10 Unda, I do about 500 more damage with my AoE on mobs. I wouldn't say INT is completely useless, but it plays less of a role later on.

i am so sorry but i still don't get it T_T and i would like to know how to skill up affinity too.

Skills.

Every class learns skills naturally when they level up, skills which are specific to your class. There are also ethyr skills, which any class can use, but you want to pick the right ones for you (depending on what affinity/build you have chosen). In a Ranger's case (Unda/Widu) at level 80 you will want the ethyrs 'Dragon Squall' (Unda spell) and 'Canopy Shine' (Widu spell). These ethyrs will do a lot more damage for you because you have chosen to buff Unda and Widu. You can view all the available ethyr skills in-game by pressing L and clicking on ethyrs.

Affinity.

Press C to look at your character and your character's affinities/statistics. You see the 5 affinities in the right hand box (Oora/Unda/Widu/Pyra/Erda)? You get to put 5 points into those every 5 levels you gain. Put them into only Unda and Widu if you are a Ranger.

If you have messed up your affinities badly (put more than 2 or 3 points into say Pyra or Erda) then yes, you can buy an item to reset them and spend how you like, but it's not cheap. I'd advise making a new character because it will take you way longer to save up gold for this item unless you are rich and just buy ebucks. Yes the item is tradable.

do you mean upgrade and where can i get a lv 25 bow??
